Maurice Guy Waldorf Sr. Dundee: Maurice Guy Waldorf Sr., age 79, of Dundee, NY died peacefully on Friday May 27, 2016 in the comfort of his home. A celebration of his life is being planned for July 2016. Maurice was born July 21, 1936 in Sodus, NY, the only son of the late Maurice George Waldorf and Selma Jorgenson Waldorf. Maurice retired from the New York Department of Correctional Services. He worked as a welder at the Napanoch and the Wallkill correctional facilities. Maurice enjoyed gardening, fishing, hunting, riding his motorcycles, weightlifting, and talking to his buddies on the CB radio, and engaging in conversation with anyone that wanted to talk. Maurice is survived by 2 daughters, Pearl Waldorf of Greely, PA and Ada (James) Linzalone of Johnson City, TN; 2 sons Maurice (Diana) Waldorf, Jr. of Mechanicsville, MD and Otto Waldorf of Solomons, MD.; 4 sisters, Constance A. Frank of Newark, NY, Carol J. Mann of Raleigh, NC, Sandra J. (George) Santerre of Wolcott, NY and Sharon M. (Charles) Reuss of Glendale, AZ; 7 grandchildren Justin (Marybeth) Waldorf, Gary (Melissa) Espinosa, Betty Ann Wallace, Jason Wallace, Angelo (Melissa) Papini, Joseph Papini, and Deandrea Wilson and several great-grandchildren; he is also survived by his Aunt Joyce Grass of North Rose, NY; and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was pre-deceased by a son Arnold T. Waldorf in 2001. Arrangements were entrusted to the Baird Funeral Home, 36 Water Street, Dundee, NY.
