Dundee: Norman Donald Vierhile, age 75, of Dundee, formerly of Naples, NY died unexpectedly on Tuesday July 18, 2017 at home.

There are no calling hours. Friends are invited to a Celebration of his Life from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm on Saturday August 5, 2017, at the home of his daughter, 29 Edwina St., Dundee, NY.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Assoc. Finger Lakes Chapter., 2113 Chili Ave., Rochester, NY 14624.

Norman was born July 22, 1941 in Wayland, NY, the son of the late Edward and Lena Coye Vierhile. He graduated from Wayland Central School. On January 2, 1960 he married the former Carol J. Roat, who passed away on February 9, 2015. He has lived locally for 2 years, previously of Canandaigua, and formerly of Naples where he was employed by the Naples Central School District as a bus driver for many years. In his spare time he enjoyed hunting.

He loved and will be missed by 3 daughters Peggy M. (Mike) Randall of Naples, Marcia L. (Ken Dutcher) Cooper of Dundee, Laura L. (Kellie) Kenyon of Phoenix, AZ; a brother Rodney Vierhile of Wayland, NY; 10 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, and wife, he was predeceased by his eldest daughter Kim J. Hallpenny in 2009.
