William D. ''Bill'' Trojanowski Penn Yan: William D. ''Bill'' Trojanowski, age 72, currently of Penn Yan, NY went home to His Lord and Savior on Monday February 27, 2023 at The Homestead, in Penn Yan, N.Y. Friends and family are invited to calling hours from 1:00 -2:00 p.m. Saturday (March 4) at the Baird Funeral Home, 36 Water Street, Dundee; where his funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm with Dr. Bob DeWitt officiating. Burial with Naval Honor's will be in Jackson Center Cemetery, Millerton, PA in the spring. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Bible Baptist Fellowship, 5950 Co. Rte. 14, Alpine, NY 14805. 'Bill' was born August 29, 1950 in Bath, NY, the only son of the late Thomas Peter and Mildred Ella (Sunderlin) Trojanowski. He graduated from Dundee Central School in 1968, and entered the U.S. Navy in Sept. of the same year, serving 4 years, Honorably Discharged in 1972. Being trained in Boiler water and Feed water testing in the service he accepted a job as Boiler Operator at Arnot-Ogden Medical Center, in Elmira, where he soon met his future wife. On Sept. 21, 1974 in the Jackson Center United Methodist Church, he married the former Carol A. Sisson, who he was married to for 38 years before her passing on April 28, 2013. He was a Boiler Operator all his life, having been employed by NYSEG at the Hickling Power Plant, in Corning, NY, and finally retiring from Elmira Correctional Facility. Mr. Trojanowski was a member of the Bible Baptist Fellowship, and made God and family the priorities of his life. In his spare-time he enjoyed talking on his Ham Radio (WT2S); spending time in the outdoors, hunting or fishing, boating, motorcycles, car shows, and watching NASCAR. He was a true "Jack of all trades, Master of some" He is loved and will be missed by his 2 sons Thomas P. (Reba Copp) Trojanowski of Montour Falls, NY, and Jason Wm. (Teresa Allen) Trojanowski of Oswego, NY; 4 grandchildren Marissa and Brandon Voorhees, and Trinity and Angil Trojanowski; and his sister Joan M.
