Deborah S. DePauw

Canandaigua: Deborah S. DePauw, age 70, of Canandaigua, NY passed away Wednesday March 15, 2023 at Strong Memorial Hospital, in Rochester, N.Y.

Friends are invited to a calling hour from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday (March 23) at the Baird Funeral Home, 36 Water Street, Dundee; where her funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. with Lay Pastor Lew Ann Giles officiating. Burial will be in Grove Mount Cemetery, Himrod, NY.

Debbie was born August 24, 1952 in Geneva, NY, the daughter of the late Edward C. 'Bud' and Pearl R. (Strait) DePauw. She graduated from Dundee Central School in 1970, and continued her education graduating from Freeman Business School in Geneva, NY. She was employed by Morton Salt in Himrod until its closure; continuing her working career at International Paper in Geneva, and retiring from the Financial Offices of Finger Lakes Community College, in Canandaigua, NY in 2016. In her spare-time she enjoyed reading and going to the library, and working in her flower gardens, and feeding and watching the squirrels in her back yard.

She is survived and will be dearly missed by her brother Keith K. (Sue) DePauw of Bradford, NY; a niece Janice (Tim) Phillips of Hamlin, NY; a nephew Philip Wilcox of Bath, NY; and great nieces and nephews, Alex, Bryn, Tyler, Kaden, Brennan, & Mikayla who all adored her and her delicious brownies. She will also be missed by her kitty cat 'Sweetie'.
