Obituary of Rose R. Webster

Rosetta R. ''Rose'' Webster Penn Yan: Rose Webster, age 90, of Penn Yan, NY passed away peacefully on Tuesday June 24, 2025 at The Homestead, in Penn Yan, N.Y. Friends may call from 12:00 – 1:00 p.m. Saturday June 28, at the Baird Funeral Home, 36 Water Street, Dundee NY, where her funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Kim Dean officiating. Burial will follow in Hillside Cemetery, Dundee. Memorial contributions may be made to Milo Center Methodist Church, P.O. Box 299, Penn Yan, N.Y. 14527 Rose was born October 10, 1934 to the late Henry and Sarah Watters Kohlage. Rose graduated in 1952 from Binghamton North High School. She married Robert G. Webster on April 2, 1955 in Binghamton, NY. They enjoyed traveling together. They were happily married for 64 years. He passed away on January 17, 2019. Rose worked many years in the banking business and retired in 1989. She spent her free time working on many different craft projects. She is survived by her sister in law Carol (Charles) Leach, special niece Barbara Medinsky, special nephews William (Val) Lyman, Robert (Cathy) Quackenbush and many other nieces and nephews; and special friends Karen and Richard Hudson. Rose was predeceased by her loving husband, parents, sisters; Celia, Joann, and a brother Henry.
