Obituary of Lynn Arden Wheeler

Lynn Arden "Tree" Wheeler Dundee/Barrington: Lynn Arden Wheeler, age 62, of Dundee, NY passed away on Thursday July 3, 2025 at Highland Hospital, in Rochester, NY. There are no prior calling hours. Inurnment will be private in Hillside Cemetery, in Dundee. Friends and family are invited to a Celebration of His Life from 1:00 – 4:00 pm Saturday July 26, at the home of his brother Steve, at 4490 Bath Rd. Penn Yan, NY. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Dundee Fire Company Emergency Squad, 12 Union St., Dundee, NY 14837. Lynn was born July 6, 1962 in the town of Urbana, NY, the first son of the late Arden and Emma Jane (Muchler) Wheeler. He graduated from Dundee Central School in 1982. On June 29, 1996 in Barrington he married the former Bonnie H Hamburg. A Mountain of a Man, Lynn was a former member of the Dundee Fire Department. He was happiest behind a steering wheel. He enjoyed being involved with the Mennonite Community, and the many friends he made in doing so. He is survived and will be missed by his wife of 29 years, Bonnie H Wheeler at home; 2 brothers, Steven E (Angy) Wheeler of Barrington; James (Patti) Wheeler of Italy Hill, NY; a sister Mary Wheeler of Dundee; several nieces, nephews, cousins, countless friends; and a very special niece Andrea "Popcorn" (David) Garrett.
