Arthur R. ''Artie'' Rizzino Lakemont: Arthur R. ''Artie'' Rizzino, age 86, of Lakemont, NY, passed away on Monday July 7, 2025, at Rochester General Hospital, in Rochester, N.Y. Friends are invited to calling hours from 2:00 - 4:00 pm Sunday, July 13, at the Baird Funeral Home, 36 Water Street, Dundee. The Funeral Mass will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 14, at St. Stanislaus R. C Church, 7646 Whitehead Hill Rd., Bradford N.Y. with Father Pat Connor officiating. Burial will be at the Cemetery of the Holy Rood, 111 Old Country Road, Westbury, Long Island, NY, on Tuesday, July 15, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family c/o the funeral home. "Artie" was born June 26, 1939, in Oyster Bay, Long Island. Following his high school graduation in 1958, he opened an auto-body and towing business. After moving to the Finger Lakes Region in 1967, he worked for Learn Motors in Watkins Glen. In 1970, he opened Midway Truck Sales in Lakemont, selling Marmon Custom Trucks. He transitioned into propane delivery in 1995 and operated Midway Propane ever since. He believed in the idea of "If you love what you do, you'll never work a day in your life," and demonstrated this in his over 60 years of dedication to small business services. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Annette (Satriano) Rizzino; daughter Annette (Robert) Carr of Fairfax, VA; son Art (Bonnie) Rizzino of Pittsburgh, PA; granddaughter Samantha Carr of Fairfax, VA; brother Arnold (Heather) Rizzino of Omaha, NE; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Angelo and Beatrice (Macedonio) Rizzino, brother Neil Rizzino, and sister JoAnne (Rizzino, Pagano) Champaine.
