Obituary of Sheradith Hope Fultz

Sheradith Hope Fultz Campbell: Sheradith Hope Fultz, age 86, of Campbell, NY passed away peacefully on Wednesday August 13, 2025 in the comfort of her home. Friends are invited to calling hours from 5:00 - 7:00 pm Monday August 18 at the Baird Funeral Home, 36 Water Street, Dundee; where her funeral service will be held at 10:00 am Tuesday August 19, with Pastor Lawrence Semans officiating. Inurnment will be in Hillside Cemetery at the convenience of the family. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date to be announced. Memorial contributions may be made to the National Audubon Society 225 Varick St. 7th Floor, New York, N.Y. 10014. Hope was born July 15, 1939 in Elmira, N.Y., the middle daughter of the late Glenn J. and Edith Mae (Buck) Vedder. She graduated from Watkins Glen High School in 1957. She moved to Endicott, NY with her brother and worked for Endicott Shoes before getting married, July 29, 1961 in Wellsboro, PA to the late Martin M. Fultz Jr. who passed away on April 5, 1998. While raising her family, she was employed as a waitress and event assistant for Hilton, and Holiday Inn in Corning, NY. Later in life Hope became a loved home health care aid for various families in Steuben County, a job she loved up until a few years ago. Mrs. Fultz volunteered for her local Election Board; and loved flowers, and watching birds and animals. A loving mother and grandmother, she will be dearly missed by a son Martin L. Fultz of Penn Yan; her 2 daughters Rhonda L. Wright of Campbell, and Karen L. Graham with whom she made her home; 8 grandchildren Holly(Dillon) Haag, Stephanie Fultz, Robert Wright, Ryan Wright, Jessica Demyan, Angela (Derek) Nichols, Zachary (McKayla Dumbleton) Hoke, and Kristy (Jason) Heffner; 9 great grandchildren; a brother Ben (Joyce) Vedder of Himrod; and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, and her husband, she was predeceased by 2 sisters Charity B. Ovenshire in 1992, and Faith G. Haight-McDowell in 2021.
