Helen J. Owen Tyrone: Helen J. Owen, one of the kindest souls to walk this earth, entered into eternal rest, Monday September 8, 2025. Helen is survived by her favorite (only) son, Clifford Owen, Jr. ("Cork"), her beloved and cherished granddaughter Lynzee Blanco and very special grandson, Christopher Blanco of Stephenson, VA. Her daily phone buddy and sister, Kate, and brother-in-law Wesley Tyler of Tyrone. Favorite daughter-in-law,Sharon Keefer of Mineral, VA. Stepdaughters, Angela Bills of Campbell and Carla Chace of Avoca. Many nieces and special nephew, John (Buzz) and Kathy Swarthout of Bath, NY. Special thanks to lifelong friend, Linda Dencenburg, for all your help at a very trying time. Thanks to Sherry Sanford for your help; and her much loved cat, Snoop. A very sweet lady, that was and is loved very much and will be greatly missed. Anyone wishing to should make a donation to a local animal shelter in her name. Honoring her wishes, there are no prior calling hours. Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Inurnment will be in Tyrone Union Cemetery.
