Obituary of Christophe J. Allen

Christophe J. Allen Dundee: Christophe J. Allen, age 54, of Dundee, NY passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday October 29, 2025 at home. Honoring his wishes there are no calling hours. Christophe was born February 19, 1971 in Elmira, N.Y., the son of the late Charles B. and Virginia (Lauper) Allen Sr. He graduated from Hammondsport Central School in 1989, and went on to Elmira College, graduating with an Associate's degree in computer graphics. On Aug. 20, 1998 in Wayne, N.Y. he married the former Dawn M. Everwine. They moved from Wayne to Dundee in 2007. Mr. Allen was a former Boy Scout, and former member of the Wayne Fire Department. Christophe was an avid reader with a passion for science fiction, and westerns; he loved video games, and working with his hands. He had a knack for creating things out of the simplest objects, and that talent was also evident in his artistic side, drawing, and painting. He is loved and will be dearly missed by his wife of 27 years, Dawn M. Allen at home. The youngest of 5 children, he is survived by 2 brothers Charles Bruce (Lawrence Lam) Allen Jr. of Bath, and Max Allen of Wayne, NY; and 2 sisters Cheryl (Robert) Smith of Ocala, FL, and Diane Agor of South Carolina; he will be forever missed by his mother in law who loved him as a son Diann Johnson of Centerton, NJ; several nieces and nephews; and his loyal best furry friend "Gunner".
