Theresa L. ''Terry'' Bordonaro Brush

Kanona/Dundee: Theresa L. ''Terry'' Brush, age 51, of Kanona, NY, died Thursday September 26, 2013 in the comfort of her home surrounded by her family after a courageous battle with her health.

Terry was born July 11, 1962 in Rochester, NY, the daughter of Dominic and the late Edna E. Longwell Bordonaro. She graduated from Dundee Central School in 1980. Working in the vineyards for many years, She was happiest when she employed by Playland Amusements, of Auburn, NY; traveling the Carnival circuit. She was known as the "Kiddy Land Queen", and her ride was retired when she stopped working due to her deteriorating health in 2008. When her health was good she enjoyed wood working and camping. In her spare time lately she has been addicted to Facebook, and her Farm Town is never going to be the same ever again.

She is loved by all but especially her Life Partner Kendra D. DiJohn with whom she made her home; 2 daughters Denise E. (Bill) DeClerk, Terri Jo (Matt Schoener) Brush both of Bath, NY, 3 sons Albert M. "Pete" Brush of Dundee, Zackery A. Frazier of Kanona, Taylor A. DiJohn at home; a wonderful sister Robin L. Tongate of Penn Yan, NY; her father Dominic (Bonnie) Bordonaro of Dansville, a very dear mother in law Marilee "Mert" Grigsby at home; 6 grandchildren; several nieces, nephews; and countless friends.

She was pre-deceased by her brother Nick Bordonaro in 2005, her mother Edna E. Barkley-Johnson in 2006, and her step fathers Herbert Barkley in 1996, and Alfred Johnson in 2003.

Honoring her wishes there were no prior calling hours. Family and friends were invited to a Celebration of Her Life at 1:30 pm Saturday (Oct. 5) at the Dundee VFW, Seneca St. Extension, Dundee, NY.
