Gladys Nellie Aston Aubrey, TX / Dundee, NY: Gladys Nellie Aston, age 90, of Aubrey, TX passed peacefully at the home of her granddaughters Cindy and Debbie Wroe on Saturday, March 8, 2014. She was born October 1, 1923 to George and Martha Emory in the Town of Dix, Schuyler Co, NY. She is survived by her sisters; Lillian Horton of Dundee, NY and Shirley Lambert of Summerfield, FL; children, Marge Kilb and husband Tim of Aubrey, TX, Ronald Aston and wife Vickie of Lebanon, TN, and Diane Migl and husband Otto of San Antonio, TX. Gladys is also survived by her grandchildren; Alan VanNess and wife Teena of Lincoln, CA, Yvonne Marks and significant other David Olsen of Denton, TX, James VanNess of Elmira, NY, Cindy Wroe and life partner Debbie of Aubrey, TX, Rodney Migl of Denton, TX, Michelle Weeks and husband Thomas of Quinlan, TX, Leisa Kirk of Lebanon, TN and Brandy Kelley of Westmoreland, TN. She also has 11 great grandchildren, 10 great great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews and many loving friends. Gladys was preceded in death by her husband James, brother, George and sister, Pearl. Services were held on Saturday, March 15, 2014 in Lewisville, TX. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday May 9, in Hillside Cemetery, Dundee, NY.
