Obituary of Yvonne Cook

M. Yvonne Daniels Cook Dundee: M. Yvonne Daniels Cook, age 57, of Dundee, NY went to be with her Savior on May 11, 2014 at Strong Memorial Hospital surrounded by family and friends. Honoring her wishes there are no prior calling hours. A private graveside service will be held at 10:00 am Friday (May 16) in McDowell Cemetery in Wayne NY, with Pastor Josiah Travis officiating. Friends are invited to her memorial service at 6:00 p.m. that evening at the Emmanuel Baptist Church, 332 Main St., Penn Yan with Pastors Curtis and Eileen Stitt officiating, after which everyone in attendance is invited to a reception at the Wayne Fire Dept. Wayne, NY. Born Marie Yvonne Daniels on December 19, 1956, in Hawkesbury, Ontario, Canada; the daughter of Gerald and Rita Beriault Daniels. She moved to the US after marrying her faithful love Phillip on Sept. 3, 1982 in Fredrickton, New Brunswick, Canada. She was a very loving caring person, who loved family, serving others, and her Savior Jesus Christ. Yvonne raised her family to always see the needs of others and do whatever possible to help. She will be greatly missed among many. Yvonne is survived by her husband of 32 years Phillip Cook at home; 5 children Juanita of Phelps, Naomi of Canandaigua, Nathanael, Joel, and Jonathan (Lindsey Ann Draper) all of Wayne; her mother Rita Daniels, 2 sisters, Debbie Sargent, and Linda (Mike) Mathieson; and 2 brothers, Michael Daniels, and Rick Daniels all of Ontario Canada; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
