Demetrius Alan Keegan Watkins Glen/Tyrone: Demetrius Alan Keegan, age 57, of Watkins Glen, NY died quietly at home on Saturday June 14, 2014. Honoring his wishes there are no prior calling hours. A memorial service will be held at 12:00 noon on Friday June 20 at the Tyrone United Methodist Church, Tyrone, NY. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Tyrone United Methodist Church Playground Park Fund, P.O. Box 1, Tyrone, NY 14887. Demetrius was born November 29, 1956 in Elmira, NY, the son of the late Donald F. and Jeuillie Engle Keegan. He was employed by the Town of Tyrone, Highway Department. He is survived by his loving children Tara (Matthew) Sy and their children of South Carolina, Heather (Don) Graf-Chaffer and their children, Shaun (Christine) Graf and their children all of Florida; brothers and sisters, Joy (Richard) Carlyle of Tyrone, JoAnn (Jud) Caslin of Burdett, John Hinderliter, and Michael Keegan both of Arizona, Daniel Keegan of Montour Falls, Donna (Roger) DeWolfe of Corning, Jeuillie (Ed) Keegan-Macey of Albany, NY, Cherie (Calvin) David of Montana, Susan Keegan of Hudson, NY, Sean (Brenda) Keegan of Dundee; and many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was pre-deceased by two sisters Joan Strong and Penny Keegan, and a brother Donald Keegan. Arrangements by the Baird Funeral Home, 36 Water Street, Dundee.
