Mary Kathleen Mair Himrod: Mary Kathleen Mair (Bentley), Born September 5, 1924 the daughter of the late Basil and Florence Gardner Bentley, passed quietly and peacefully to the Lord on July 29, 2014. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of nearly 73 years, William Dixon Mair. Mr. and Mrs. Mair were married in the Deveaux Chapel in Niagara Falls on December 6, 1942 and together raised 4 children, Sandy (Capt. Bill Ret. USMC) Peters, William I. Mair, Paul (Audrey) Mair, and Elizabeth Mair, as well as her loving dog, Quincy. "Kathleen" spent her life as a lover of nature and animals and was an accomplished, yet humble, artist and interior designer. She spent her golden years with her love, Bill, and surrounded by nature tending to her beautiful garden and home. She lived a fulfilling life and is further survived by her loving grandchildren Michael Mueller, Tammy Mueller, Mathew (Sarah) Mair, Melissa VanAmeron, and Sarah Mair, as well as several great grandchildren. A memorial service will be privately held at the convenience of the family and in lieu of flowers donations can be made in her honor to the Humane Society of Yates County, P.O.
