to my dearest Oggie: I love u beyond any words can imagine.....u were more than just a grandfather to me....u were my hero.....the 2 things I cherish the most are the story of how u and gramma met and the other one is ur infamous Donald Duck voice I love u my dearest Oggie and may u RIP and fly high with the angels! I love you and miss you always I know you will always be with me through the little Oggie lizard I made. I always thought of you as this invincible person that nothing could ever happen to you. RIP Oggie! My condolences go out to your family! I am so grateful I got to meet you @ Mark Lacy's wedding last year! You were in a fighter just like my own grandfather who also struggled health issues and he as well served our country. Now you and him are both in a better place where neither are no longer suffering and both of you I know are looking down on your grand-children like me and Ashleigh and other grand kids. You and my grandpa set a great example on how life should be, and it's a shame how some parents don't raise their kids like you and my grandparents did when our parents were young. May you Rest In Peace now. Give Ash the strength to fight her battles and her fears! :)

In the relative short time I had to get to know this man, Heaven became a better place with the passing of this man. Wendell was a honest, fair, loving and tough man. He treated me like a son. I will miss him, however I will always remember him. Thank you for the memories Pop Lance
