James A.L. Austin Dundee: James A. L. Austin, age 27, of Dundee, NY died unexpectedly on Wednesday March 4, 2015 in Montour Falls, NY. Honoring the families wishes there are no prior calling hours. A memorial service will be private at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made to Dundee Fire Company, or the Dundee Fire Company Emergency Squad, 12 Union St., Dundee, NY 14837. James was born August 3, 1987 in Newport, Rhode Island, the son of Donald M. and Eloise Renee Ramsey Austin. He has lived locally since 1999, previously of Buffalo, NY. James was employed by Labor Ready, in Elmira, NY. An avid fisherman he was a Life member of Bass Masters. He is survived by his parents Donald M. and Renee Austin of Lakemont; 4 sisters Jennifer Austin of Bristol, CT, Destiny Austin, Kristen Austin, and Hope Austin all at home; Maternal Grandfather Ira J. Ramsey of Middletown, RI; Paternal Grandparents Emery and Karen Austin of Terryville, CT; and numerous Aunts, Uncles & Cousins. He was pre-deceased by his maternal grandmother Verdie Ramsey, and a cousin "Little" John Ramsey. Arrangements are by the Baird Funeral Home, 36 Water Street, Dundee.
