Obituary of Timothy Lawrence Hathaway

Timothy Lawrence ''Tim'' Hathaway Kingston/Dundee: ''Tim'' Hathaway, age 48 passed away on Wednesday November 18, 2015 at his home in Kingston New York. Calling hours will be held from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. and a memorial service will follow at 4:00 p.m. Saturday Feb. 20, 2016 at the Baird Funeral Home 36 Water St. Dundee, NY 14837. Tim was born on July 4, 1967 in Penn Yan, NY to the late John L. Hathaway and Marcia A. Hendricks Hathaway. He attended Dundee Central School, where he was active in many clubs like the yearbook, the school newspaper, science club, French club and drama club. In his senior year Tim took a trip to Paris, France where he always wanted to go back to. Tim graduated from Dundee in 1986 and then went on to college at SUNY Cobleskill where he graduated with a Bachelor's degree in culinary arts. When he left Cobleskill he moved to Kingston where he lived with his life partner Wayne Keator for 30 plus years. Tim was self-employed for the last few years. He will be remembered as a loving son, brother and uncle. Tim is survived by his mother Marcia A. Hendricks Hathaway; a brother Howard (Ruth) Hathaway, 2 sisters Lorie Hathaway Johnson and Hannah (Clint) Hall; and many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. Tim was pre deceased by his father John L. Hathaway on September 11, 1993; 2 brothers Roy C. Hathaway on August 16, 2009, and Jerry Hathaway in 1988, and also his life partner Wayne Keator in November of 2015. Arrangements are by the Baird Funeral Home 36 Water St. Dundee, NY.
