Obituary of Geraldine Meacham

Geraldine Meacham, age 81, of Dundee, NY passed away on Thursday, February 23, 2012 surrounded by her loving family, at Kindred Hospital Philadelphia, PA. Honoring her wishes there are no prior calling hours. A memorial service will be held 2:00 pm Monday (Mar. 5) at Dundee Presbyterian Church, 31 Main Street, Dundee with a reception following. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society 1400 Winton Road North, Rochester, NY 14609-5896 or the Dundee Fire Emergency Square 12 Union St Dundee, NY 14837 Geraldine was born April 26, 1930 in Bath, NY and was a daughter of the late Clinton & Elizabeth Townsend Buchanan. She was the heart and soul of her family, inspirational to everyone she met, kind and gentle and someone to aspire to. A true Angel on Earth. She loved the outdoors, gardening, bird watching and sewing family memorabilia. But the most important thing to her was to spend time with her family along with countless other friends whom were blessed to know her. She is survived by brother, Steven Buchanan (Pat), five children, Shirley Jeude (David), Donald Meacham (Esther Hill), Karen Rodbourn (Keith), Brian Meacham (Louisa), Dawn Duval (Duane); 16 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and was pre-deceased by three daughters - Janet , Marsha, Brenda and brother - James Buchanan.
