I was shocked and saddened to hear of Turk's passing this morning. I did not know Turk well and met him only a year ago at Seneca Lake watershed stream monitoring meeting at his sister Mary's cottage. He was obviously interested in to environmental issues as evidences by his willingness to join in efforts to improve the lake he lived on. He was one of our dedicated shore HABs monitors last summer along the shores of Glenora Point. We shall miss his presence this summer but his contributions to our first year's efforts last summer. will remain as fond memories. Our condolences go Mary and to the Rose and Tripp families.
