~~Mary Coletta ''Toni'' Gable

Dundee: Mary Coletta ''Toni'' Gable, age 79, of Dundee, formerly of Pine City, N.Y. and Summerfield, F.L., died Saturday July 1, 2017 surrounded by her family, at The Homestead, located in Penn Yan, N.Y.
Friends are invited to calling hours from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 11th at the Baird Funeral Home, 36 Water Street, Dundee.   Her memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m. with Pastor Lawrence Semans officiating.   Inurnment will be in St. Peter & Paul Cemetery, Elmira, at the convenience of the family.
Those wishing to make memorial contributions in her memory may send them to The Michael J. Fox Parkinson Foundation at 1-800-708-7644 or P.O. Box 5014, Hagerstown, MD 21741-5014; or to The Homestead, 418 N. Main Street, Penn Yan, N.Y. 14527.
Mary was born August 28, 1937 in Elmira, N.Y., oldest of three daughters of the late James Thomas and Althea May Mabee Coletta.  She graduated from Southside High School in 1956, where she was a member of the Delta Alpha Sorority.  She married Philip Gable on August 1, 1959, in St. Mary’s Church located in Elmira.
“Toni” as she was known by many, was employed for several years by Twin Tiers Anesthesia.  She retired as a Medical Records Technician from Broadway Animal Hospital in Elmira. Some favorite past times were needlework, sewing, ceramics, home decorating, and skiing.  Toni enjoyed gardening and was a member of several flower clubs. Her flowers always did and will continue to bloom with beauty by the care of her husband and daughters.  She loved being in the kitchen and was a “Fabulous Cook” of Italian dishes and sweets, but she loved being a grandmother most of all.
She is dearly loved and will be deeply missed by her husband of 57 years, Philip; 2 daughters:  Sharlyn (David) Louch of Montour Falls and Stacey (Douglas) Wills of Dundee; 3 grandchildren: Stephanie (Chad) Moore, Matthew Wills, and Daniel Louch; 2 sisters: Nancy (Ralph) Williamson of Gainesville, G.A., Delores (Jerry) Bosley of Huntsville, A.L.; and several nieces and nephews.
