Born June 6, 1931 in Jamaica (Queens), New York to the late Harold W. and Edna Kurth Comeau.
A true Renaissance man who will be remembered for his love of aviation, food, culture and travel, his amazing artistic and mechanical abilities and a strong faith in God. Among his most memorable will be his selfless love and support as a husband, father and grandfather and one who cherished his family.
Father of Suzan (Mark) Coffey, Marie Elena (Bill) Dunn, and Lisa (Jacob) Angelou; grandfather of Megan Dunn, Devin Dunn, and Chrissy (Gavin) Polmanteer; Christopher and Sarah Coffey; Rebecca and Jessica Angelou; great grandfather of Liam Drew, Collin Dunn and Rory Polmanteer; brother to Lawrence (Denise) Comeau
Predeceased by his wife Magdalena; and Sister Virginia (William) Robbie
There are no calling hours; a Graveside Service with Military Honors will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday (Jan. 21) in Calverton National Cemetery in Calverton, Long Island.
