Ian R. McLaughlin Dundee: Ian R. McLaughlin, age 49, of Spring St. IRA, in Dundee NY died Sunday June 17, 2012 at Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hospital, in Penn Yan, NY. The family will receive friends from 3-4 p.m. Wednesday (June 20) at the Baird Funeral Home, 36 Water Street, Dundee. A celebration of his life reception will follow calling hours at his Spring St. IRA home 18 Spring St. Dundee. Memorial contributions in his memory may be made to Spring St. IRA. Ian was born September 28, 1962 in Rochester, NY, the son of the late William and Ruby Daniels McLaughlin. He has lived locally since 1999, previously of Rochester, NY. Mr. McLaughlin worked at the Day Program in Penn Yan, NY. His greatest joys were time spent with his caregivers, and friends, camping, swimming and enjoying the water as much as he could. He is loved and will be missed by a sister Catherine (Ed Martin) McLaughlin of Rochester; 2 brothers Glenn (Mary) McLaughlin of Seattle, WA, and Kevin McLaughlin of Rochester; a nephew Ben McLaughlin also of Rochester; his favorite loving caregivers Stacey Cohick, and Holly Case both of Dundee; and lots of friends.
