Honorable Paula D. Seeley
Dundee: Hon. Paula D. Seeley, age 59, of Dundee, NY gave up the fight and passed away peacefully in her sleep on Sunday February 17, 2019 in the comfort of her home after a long battle with health issues.
Honoring her wishes the family will greet family and friends from 2:00 -4:00 pm Saturday March 2, 2019 at the Baird Funeral Home, 36 Water Street, Dundee. Her memorial service will be held privately for the family with Judy Duquette officiating.
In lieu of flowers the family respectively requests memorial contributions be made to the Dundee Fire Company Emergency Squad, 12 Union St., Dundee, NY 14837.
Paula was born March 25, 1959 in Penn Yan, NY, the daughter of the late Paul Eugene and Darlene {Gee} Dixon. She graduated from Penn Yan Academy in 1977. On Oct. 25, 1980 in Osceola, PA she married Louis L. Seeley.
Raised in Dresden Paula was a Supervisor for Don Allison's for several years prior to moving from Dresden to Dundee. She worked for the Dundee Pharmacy for many years while raising her family. She entered the local justice system as the Starkey Town Court Clerk under the Honorable Helen Halbritter, who continued to mentor Paula after she was elected as the Dundee Village Justice; which she was one year shy of completing her final term and retiring in 2020.
She is loved and will be dearly missed by her loving husband of 38 years Louie L. Seeley; 2 daughters Stacey L. (Jason White) Seeley, and Stephanie A. (Joe) Crane all of Dundee, 4 grandchildren Rachel Crane, Bryannah Crane, Brody White, and Connor Crane; 2 brothers Paul (Chris) Dixon of Naples, NY, Jacob Kibbe of Auburn, NY; 2 sisters Lori (Bill) Dunning of Dresden, NY, Darla Dixon of Dundee; and numerous nieces and nephews.
