Port Richey, FL/Dundee, NY: Arthur K. Davis, age 90 of Port Richey, FL, formerly of Rochester, NY, died on Friday, June 28, 2019 at Regional Hospital Bayonet Point, FL.

 

Born the son of Charles and Arminta Davis on July 17, 1928 in Himrod, NY.

He retired from Kodak after 33 years in the DPI Division. He was a great mechanic, both home remodeling and automotive and a great teacher.

His greatest passion was music and he was accomplished at the key board, accordion, guitar, and fiddle, mostly for the pleasure of his friends and family; also very involved in recording VHS, cassettes and cd’s.  

He was predeceased by his first wife Anita (Whitmore), survived by their daughters Jennifer (Mark Claxton), Rhonda (Dennis Potter), and sons Rodney and Debra, and Randy and Tina.

He was also predeceased by his second wife, Suzie, (Reinheimer). He is survived by step-son Glenn and Kathy Reinheimer. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, including steps, and 3 great, great grandchildren; and nieces and nephews beyond counting.

A wonderful father, husband, and friend; he had a full and happy life.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday July 17, 2019 at the Baird Funeral Home, 36 Water St, Dundee, NY.  Internment in Grove Mount Cemetery, Himrod, at convenience of the family.
