Frederick D. Erdle
Tyrone: Frederick Daniel Erdle, age 79, of Tyrone, NY died unexpectedly on Monday August 19, 2019 at his beloved home on the shores of Lamoka Lake.
Honoring his wishes there are no prior calling hours. A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 am Saturday (Aug. 24) at St. Stanislaus Roman Catholic Church, in Bradford, NY with Father Patrick Connor officiating. Inurnment will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Rochester, NY at the convenience of the family.

"Fred" was born June 24, 1940 in Rochester, NY, one of 3 sons of the late Frederick J. and Agnes {Wilson} Erdle. He graduated from John Marshall High School in Rochester in 1960. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1960-1962. On Feb. 8, 1964 in Cortland, N.Y. he married the former Anna M. Dovi. He retired from Xerox Corporation, of Rochester, NY in 1995, and loved living on Lamoka Lake ever since. Mr. Erdle was a member of St. Stanislaus Church, the Ancient Order Hibernians of Rochester. He enjoyed water sports, downhill skiing, and reading.
He is loved and will be dearly missed by his wife of 55 years Anna M. Erdle at home; 4 daughters Donna Marie (Brian) Graham of Buffalo, NY, Mary Teresa (Neal) Foley of Onieda, NY, Rosanne Elizabeth (Hampton) Hale of Woodstock, GA, Monica Jean (Frederic) Delorme of Ojai, CA; 6 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was pre-deceased by a daughter Lynda Louise Erdle in 1994; and 2 brothers Thomas M. Erdle in 2008,and James E. Erdle in 2017.
