Kelly Lynn Bray Dundee/Hampton Bays, L.I. NY: Kelly Lynn Bray, age 24, of Hampton Bays, NY died unexpectedly on Thursday March 5, 2020 at University Hospital -Stony Brook Southampton Hospital, in Southampton, NY. A Celebration of Her Life will be held at 4:00 p.m. Saturday Sept. 5 at the Seneca Lake Duck Hunters Club Route 14 Penn Yan, NY. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions are graciously requested and may be made by searching the Kelly and Amelia fund raiser set up on Facebook, or by reaching out to the family. Kelly was born July 27, 1995 in Rochester, NY, the daughter of David R. Bray and Stephanie A. Keech. She graduated from Hammondsport High School in 2013. She attended SUNY Alfred from 2013-2015, earning an Associate Degree. She was currently studying Veterinary Technology at Penn Foster. She has lived on Long Island since 2015, previously of Dundee. Together with her fiancé Jonathan M. Fava, they welcomed their beautiful daughter Amelia Rose on July 4, 2018. An animal lover all her life, she held numerous jobs all relating to the care of animals; her resume includes Long Island Game Farm, kennel technician at The Moriches Hospital for Animals, Veterinary Assistant at Eastport Animal Hospital, and Westhampton Beach Animal Hospital; and Vet Tech at Hampton Veterinary Hospital. She was the founder of "Peace of Mind Home Pet Care" her own growing business helping families care for their pets. Kelly was a former medical technician at Turtle Rescue of the Hamptons; and was a Chinchilla Rescue Moms. Animals were her passion, but she also enjoyed drawing, and being a pen pal. She is dearly loved and will be forever missed by all who knew her. The greatest of these being her 20 month old daughter Amelia Rose Fava; her mother Stephanie A. (Shane) Johnson of Dundee, father David R. (Meredith) Bray of Florida; brother Anthony (Autumn Mitchell) Johnson of Dundee; sisters Michelle Bray of Florida and Amanda Bishop of Rushville, NY; step sisters Amanda L. (James) Krielder III of Dundee, Michelle A.(Ben) Ingerson of Elbridge, NY; aunt Karen L. (Shawn Allen) Keech; uncles Ronald J. (Tracey Christensen) Keech, Carl Bray, Johnny McCormick, aunt Dawn (Tim) Kriegar; grandparents Judy Johnson, Thurman Bray, and Darlene (Tom) McCormick; great grandmother Doris Schichler; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was most recently predeceased by grandfather Cecil "Skip" Johnson, grandmother Patricia Keech, and sister Sarah Williams.
