Penn Yan: Miles DeWayne Turner, age 26, of Penn Yan, NY died unexpectedly on Thursday April 9, 2020 at home.
Due to the Covid-19 restrictions there are no services at this time. A Celebration of His Life will be held at the convenience of the family on a date to be announced.
Memorial contributions may be made to Partnership for Drug Free Kids or the National Kidney Foundation.
Miles was born October 8, 1993 in Memphis, TN, son of Rodney D. Turner and Rebecca A. Maynard. He graduated from Penn Yan Academy in 2011. He worked in construction for various local contractors.
He is loved and will be forever missed by his mom and dad Rebecca A. & R. David Andersen Jr.; his father Rodney Turner; sister Emma Andersen; brother Grant Andersen; girlfriend of 13 years and mother of his children Casandra Harris; daughter Aubree Harris; son Parker Turner; maternal great grandmother Marion Harris; grandparents Barbara and Ralph Andersen, Thelma and Ned Turner; along with several aunts, uncles, & cousins.
He was predeceased by maternal grandparents Roy and Karen Maynard, maternal great grandparents June and Clint Maynard, and maternal great grandfather Marshall "Bing" Harris.
