Robert E. ''Bob'' Perry Watkins Glen: Robert E. ''Bob'' Perry, age 84, of Watkins Glen, NY passed away in the comfort of his daughter's home with family at his side on Monday December 21, 2020. Due to Covid Restrictions there will be no public calling hours. Services for the family will be private at the Baird Funeral Home, 36 Water Street, Dundee, with Pastor Robert Stuart officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery, in Reading Center, NY. Memorial contributions may be made to the Monterey Baptist Church 911 County Route 16, Beaver Dams, NY. 14812. Robert was born August 15, 1936 in the Town of Tyrone, NY, son of the late Raymond and Mildred (Wood) Perry. On January 7, 1953 in Watkins Glen, New York he married the former Lillian N. Rogers. He served in the New York Army National Guard form 1954 – 1962. A Schuyler County Highway Department employee in his younger years; he was the Founder and President of R & L Perry Construction which he proudly worked up until his health forced him to rest in August of 2020. Mr. Perry was a God Loving member of the Monterey Baptist Church. He enjoyed camping and traveling in his RV, fishing, snowmobiling, and as "Dr. Bob" diagnosing what ails you. He loved horses and "A Good Dog". A loving husband, father and grandfather; he will be dearly missed by his wife of 67 years, Lillian N. Perry at home; his daughter Pam Trank; sons Donald R. (Julie) Perry both of Watkins Glen, and Brian D. Perry at home; 5 grandchildren, Lisa (Nick) Savastano, Kelly (Anthony) Delionado, Darryl (Lauren) Perry, Beth Caudle, and Robert (Taylor Doleman) Perry; 8 great grandchildren; 3 brothers Albert Perry, Edward (Alice) Perry, Lawrence (Cora) Perry; and several nieces, nephews, and countless friends. Besides his parents he was predeceased by a granddaughter Kim Trank, on Oct. 25, 2014, a son David R. Perry on May 30, 2015; and 2 brothers and 3 sisters.
