Nancy J. (Miller) Dunton Barrington, NY: Nancy J. Dunton, age 65, of the town of Barrington, NY passed away Thursday December 31, 2020 in the comfort of her home. A Celebration of Her Life will be begin at 11:00 am, with a service at 12:00 noon Sat. Nov. 13, 2021 with reception to follow at the family home 1700 Welker Rd. Penn Yan, NY 14527. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be sent to the Dundee Fire Company Emergency Squad 12 Union St. Dundee, NY 14837. Nancy was born September 23, 1955 in Penn Yan, NY, the daughter of the late Clayton R. and Betty J. {MacDougal} Miller. She graduated from Dundee Central School in 1973. On Oct. 3, 1980 in Barrington, NY she married Howard L. Dunton. After raising her family she returned to her education, receiving her Master's Degree from Keuka College in 1990. Nancy was a Social Worker for Yates County, retiring after 20 years in 2010. She was a member of the Dundee United Methodist Church, and was involved with the Dundee Childrens Center in the past. A Wonderful Grandmother; she is survived by her husband of 40 years Howard L. Dunton at home; a daughter Ari (Nick) DeVries of Bloomfield, NY; a son Jerod (Sarah) Dunton of Barrington; 3 grandchildren Marlie Dunton, Owen Dunton, and baby Wyatt DeVries; a brother Dewey Miller of Dundee and Florida; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and Cousins.
