Glenn P. Hoke Dundee: Glenn P. Hoke, age 53, of Dundee, NY gave up the fight and ended his race in the comfort of his home on Monday October 1, 2012 after a courageous 3 year battle with Cancer. Honoring his wishes there will be no prior calling hours. A Celebration of Glenn's Life will begin at 6:00 pm Saturday (Oct. 13) at the Dundee V.F.W., Seneca St. Extension, Dundee. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in his memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1400 Winton Road North, Rochester, NY 14609-5896. Glenn was born December 20, 1958 in Corning, NY, the son of the late Harry Phillip and Thelma Jellison Hoke. Glenn moved to the Dundee area over 30 years ago from Addison, NY. He accepted a position, working for Lew Green shortly after moving to Dundee. While the Vineyards have changed hands several times since, Glenn has stayed working for the new owner. On May 21, 1994 in Montour Falls, NY he married the former Carol A. Bleiler. Glenn had to stop working for Tabora Vineyards Inc. when he became ill in 2009. A former member of the Himrod Conservation Club; Glenn enjoyed hunting and the outdoors; but his favorite hobby and interest was NASCAR. A devoted Earnhardt fan, Glenn always could be seen wearing something with a #3 or #88 on it. He is loved and will be dearly missed by his wife Carol A. Hoke and his two "Girls" Maggie & Annie all at home; a daughter Lacey Jayne of Dundee, 2 brothers Roger Lee (Gail) Hoke of Pensacola, FL, Raymond Harry Hoke of Platka, FL; 2 sisters Doreen Hoke of Penn Yan, and Goldie (Brad) Mueller of Dundee; step mother Sylvia Hoke of Bath, NY and several nieces and nephews. Arrangements are by the Baird Funeral Home, 36 Water Street, Dundee. Online condolences can be sent by visiting www.bairdfuneralhomedundee.com.
