Obituary of Patricia Ann Gilbert

Patricia Ann ''Pat'' Gilbert Dundee: Patricia Ann ''Pat'' Gilbert, age 69, of Dundee, NY passed away unexpectedly on Monday March 1, 2021 in the comfort of her favorite recliner. There are no calling hours. A Celebration of Her Life will be held at the convenience of the family. Inurnment will be in Hillside Cemetery at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1120 S Goodman St, Rochester, NY 14620. Patricia was born December 5, 1951 in Penn Yan, NY, the daughter of the late Cleland D. and Cleda D. (Oakley) Allen. She graduated from Dundee Central School in 1970. On December 4, 1971 in Dundee, she married Lanny M. Gilbert. A loving wife, mother and grandmother, having worked various jobs throughout her life she was happiest as a homemaker, caring for her loved ones. She enjoyed bowling, loved her animals, barbeque chicken. She is loved and will be dearly missed by her husband of 49 years, Lanny M. Gilbert at home; a son Darin S. (Brooke) Gilbert of Penn Yan; 2 daughters Melissa J. Gilbert at home, Rachel D. (Daniel) Gilbert of Dundee; 7 grandchildren; 2 half-sisters Vickie (Duane) Maxfield, Esler (Russell Rumsey) Naylor; and a half brother Mike (Deb) Naylor; along with many very dear nieces, nephews, and in-laws. She also will be dearly missed by our "Second Family", Pete, Deb, Craig, Brandi (Beaner) Carlsen. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by a grandson Derek A. Gilbert in 1994, a brother Jim Allen in 2011, a sister Janet Rickerson in 2017, and her step mother Beatrice Allen in 2021.
