Kenneth Scot ''Ken'' Priggen Hammondsport: Kenneth Scot ''Ken'' Priggen, age 70, of the Town of Wayne, NY died Thursday April 1, 2021 at Newark-Wayne Community Hospital, Newark, NY. Honoring his wishes there are no calling hours or public service planned. Those wishing to make a memorial contribution may consider a donation to the Dundee Library, 32 Water St. Dundee, NY 14837. Kenneth was born October 11, 1950 in Brooklyn, NY, the only son of the late Charles and Eleanor (Koester) Priggen. He graduated from Pearl River High School in 1968; and went on to receive his Bachelor of Engineering degree from WPI, Worcester Polytechnic Institute. On June 21, 2001 in Rochester, NY he married Patricia Jo "PJ" Johnston. They have lived locally for 15 years, previously of Pittsford, NY. Ken's career as an engineer included working for Atlantic Research Corporation where he helped to design and build a coal gassification plant in South Korea, as well as positions with Ultralife and HV&L Industries. Ken was a past Real Estate Agent for Century 21, in Penn Yan, N.Y. An accomplished and respected Pool player, he had been a member of several pool clubs & leagues throughout his life including the Yates County Pool League. He loved Wine Making and was proud of his accomplishments, including gardening, growing the "best corn ever". He is loved and will be forever missed by his wife of 19 years Patricia "PJ" Johnston at home; his dog Sammy, a sister Barbara (Jack) Brunkhurst of Pearl River, NY and their 2 children; along with countless friends.
