Donna Marie Smith Penn Yan: Donna Marie (Brouillard) Smith, age 65, of Penn Yan, NY passed away Saturday April 24, 2021 at Keuka Comfort Care Home, in Penn Yan, NY. Honoring her wishes there are no calling hours. A Celebration of Her Life will be held on a date yet to be determined. Memorial contributions may be made to Keuka Comfort Care Home, P.O. Box, 107, Penn Yan, NY 14527. Donna was born January 16, 1956 in Romulus, NY, the daughter of the late Henry Z. and Shirley Louise (Campbell) Brouillard. She graduated from Penn Yan Academy in 1974. On Aug. 26, 1976 in Dresden United Methodist Church she married the late Robert A. Smith, who passed away on May 4, 2018. Donna was employed as a Purchasing Manager by Z-Axis, in Phelps, NY. A loving wife and mother, who was so happy to be grandmother, and was happiest when she was with them; loved music, especially the Beatles and Aerosmith. She is dearly loved and will be forever missed by her daughter Kaitlin Louise (Patrick) Swarthout of Hall, NY; granddaughters Izabella-Marie Smith and Laila Smith; grandson Harrison Robert Swarthout; her daughter from another Mother Arianna Chadwick of Penn Yan; sister Colleen A. Balcer of Penn Yan; nieces Michelle "Kid" Lynn of Hammondsport, NY, Tammy Christensen of Shortsville, NY; a nephew Nick King of Penn Yan; and several great nieces, nephews, and in-laws. Besides her parents and husband she was predeceased by a sister Bernetta King on March 9, 2021. Arrangements entrusted to the Baird Funeral Home, 36 Water Street, Dundee, NY.
