Obituary of Dolores B. Paddock

Dolores B. Paddock Dundee: Dolores B. Paddock, age 89, of Weston, passed away Saturday May 8, 2021 at The Homestead, in Penn Yan, NY. Friends are invited to calling hours from 11:00 a.m.- 12:00 p.m. Saturday (May 15) at the Baird Funeral Home, 36 Water Street, Dundee; where her funeral service will be held at 12:00 noon with Pastor Judy Peppard officiating. Burial will be private for family only in Hillside Cemetery, Dundee. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Dundee Children's Center, 62 Main St., or to the Dundee Fire Company, 12 Union St., Dundee, NY 14837. Dolores was born July 3, 1931 in Batavia, NY, the daughter of the late Wayne A. and Maude M. (Mortensen) Barr. On Dec. 3, 1955 in Dundee, NY she married the late Ralph N. Paddock who passed away on Dec. 8, 2015. She has lived locally most all her life, except from 1992-2015, when she and her husband lived in Frostproof, Florida. A loving wife and homemaker, who enjoyed traveling the world on land and sea with her husband; bowling leagues, flowers and gardening, and was a very loved and cherished babysitter. She will be forever missed by her son Ralph W. (Jacqueline) Paddock of Springville, NY; twin daughters Karen M. (Tom) Kennedy with whom she made her home in Weston, and Sharon L. (Jeff) Ripson of Youngstown, NY; 7 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; one surviving sibling, sister Carolyn Partridge of Penn Yan, NY; and many nieces, nephews, and in-laws.
