During his career, he travelled all over the country and world troubleshooting different areas of operations for the organization. Lauren's greatest legacy was his family and his uncanny work ethic. Lauren was fortunate to have three great grandchildren who were truly one of his greatest joys; Parker, Brylee, and Lincoln. His sister and brother-in-laws Ellen (William) Cisco of Lindley, NY; Sally Sprague, Murrells Inlet, SC.; and Marco Merola of Lindley NY.; as well as several nieces, nephews. Besides his parents , Lauren was predeceased by brothers, Kenneth (Jean) Houck, Wellington (Myrtle "Boots") Houck, Lyman (Ramona) Houck, Richard (June) Houck, Harry (June) Houck and his twin brother Lawrence Houck, sisters Eileen (Daniel "Bucky") White, and Joanna (William) Taft.
