Charles W. Parmelee Geneva: Charles W. Parmelee, age 61, of Geneva, NY passed away Monday January 3, 2022 at Geneva General Hospital, Geneva, N.Y. Honoring his wishes there will be no prior calling hours. A Celebration of His Life will be held from 12:00 - 5:00 p.m. Saturday Jan. 8, 2022 at the Penn Yan American Legion. Charles was born May 24, 1960 in Penn Yan, NY, the son of the late William Paul and Jean Irene (Symonds) Parmelee. On June 29, 1996 in the town of Torrey, NY he married the former Diane Elizabeth Lamborn, who passed away on April 12, 2013. He was employed for 20 years as a fabricator for C.C.M.I. in Geneva, NY, until June of 2021. A "True People Person" and friend to all who knew him; Charlie loved camping, parties with friends and family and tinkering. He is loved and will be dearly missed by his sister Helen M. Parmelee of Penn Yan; his brother Thomas B. Parmelee of Dundee, a daughter Angel E. Kerrick of Yadkinville, NC, 3 grandchildren Vanessa R. (Bucky Sherlock) Pompeo with whom he made his home, Tryna R. (Keith Adkins) Richardson of Winston Salem, NC, Anthony (Brooke Robinson) Arner of Avon, NY; 4 great grandchildren Jocelynn, Jesse, Blake, and Skarlette; 2 nephews Mike and Mitch Thompson both of Penn Yan; a niece Amanda Lousley of Newark, NY, 3 great nieces and nephews; many in-laws, and countless friends. Besides his parents, and his wife, he was pre-deceased by a daughter Trina Kerrick in 1995, and a grandson Pete Richardson in 2019.
