Lynn C. Bennett Rock Stream: Lynn C. Bennett, age 74, of Rock Stream, NY died Monday August 22, 2022 in the comfort of her home. Honoring her wishes there will be no prior calling hours. Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Inurnment will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, in Rochester, NY. At her request, in lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to a Humane Society of the donor's choice. Lynn was born June 1, 1948 in Saranac Lake, NY one of three daughters of the late Ellwood G. and Marilyn J. (Rivers) Wilcox. She graduated from John Marshall High School in 1967. On April 14, 1984 in Ontario, N.Y. she married the late Charles A. Bennett Sr. who passed away on Dec. 27, 2003. They had lived locally since August of 1998. An avid reader who enjoyed crocheting, she loved her cat Paige, and driving her Mustang, when she wasn't making "The Best Chicken Noodle Soup"! She is loved and will be dearly missed by her two sons, Richard J. (Cortney Vogt) Redsicker Jr. of Ontario, NY, and Charles A. Bennett Jr. with whom she made her home with in Rock Stream, NY; 2 grandchildren Connor Vogt, and Hailee McMullen; and her two sisters Kathy M. (Phil) Ballard of Tulsa, OK, and Cher L. (Gary) Switzer of Dundee, NY; along with several nieces and nephews.
