Francis ''Frank'' Horton Francis ''Frank'' Horton, age 83, of the Town of Barrington. He was tougher than leather until his time came peacefully, with his family beside him in his own home. Honoring his wishes there will be no prior calling hours. There will be a Celebration of His Life on Sunday November 6, 2022 from 1:00 – 5:00 p.m. at the Wayne Fire Hall, County Road 87 Wayne-Hammondsport Road, Wayne, NY. Friends and family are invited. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Ontario-Yates Hospice 756 Pre-Emption Road Geneva, NY 14456 Frank worked on highway construction for Franzese out of Watkins Glen, NY and RC Billings out of Bath, NY and was a 50 year member of the Laborers Union. He was a "Frank" of all trades that could fix & repair anything and if he couldn't fix it, he would fix it so no one could! His favorite past times were fishing, hunting and spending time with Joan when he wasn't helping someone. Frank is survived by his wife of 44 years, Joan Gaston-Horton and their seven children Tonya and John Niland, Tina Stanton, Dana McCloud, Sonya and Mike Conover, Holly Harvey, Lucy and Gary Clingerman, and Donald F. Horton; 14 grandchildren, umpteen great grandchildren Your work on Earth is thru love, and I'll meet you when my chores are done.
