Obituary of Harry Louis Arcangeli

Harry Louis Arcangeli Lakemont: Harry Louis Arcangeli, age 84, of Lakemont, NY passed away Tuesday November 8, 2022 at Robert-Packer Hospital, in Sayre, PA from injuries sustained from an accident. Friends are invited to calling hours from 2 -5 pm Sunday Nov. 13, 2022 at the Baird Funeral Home, 36 Water Street, Dundee. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am Monday Nov. 14, at St Mary's of the Lake Catholic Church, 905 North Decatur, Watkins Glen with Father Jeffrey Tunnicliff officiating. Burial will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, Route 14, Watkins Glen, NY. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Humane Society of Yates County, P.O. Box 12, Penn Yan, NY 14527 or the American Heart Assoc. Finger Lakes Chapter 2113 Chili Ave., Rochester, NY 14624 Harry was born August 19, 1938 in Watkins Glen, NY, the son of the late Frank and Dorcellia (Olevnik) Arcangeli. On Dec. 30, 1982 in St. Mary's Church, he married the former Catherine M. Ellis. He was the owner of Lakemont Service, in Lakemont, NY. A workaholic, still repairing cars right up to the day of his accident. When he was not working or going to auctions, he was a devoted member of the Dundee Flying Club and always working every pancake breakfast. He attended St. Mary's, and was a member of the Watkins Glen Elks Lodge. He is survived by his wife of nearly 40 years Catherine M. Arcangeli at home; 5 children Jeffery L.(Tamiko) Arcangeli, Lori J. (Donnie Reikard) Groff, Gregory F. (Tina) Arcangeli, Michael D. Arcangeli, and Ashley Arcangeli; 8 grandchildren Rachel Arcangeli, Lindsay Groff, Dalton Groff, Kristin (Chris) Graziano, Joshua (Danielle) Arcangeli, Ryan Madden, Carson Vanopdurp, and Lillian Vanopdurp; a great granddaughter Autumn Parrett; and several nieces, nephews, and countless friends. Besides his parents he was pre-deceased by a sister Shirley Salvatore, and 2 brothers Francis 'Sonny' Arcangeli, and Robert Olevnik.
