Dundee/Penn Yan: Genevieve O. Davis, age 96, formerly of Ormond Beach, FL passed away Thursday December 29, 2022 at the Penn Yan Manor Nursing Home, in Penn Yan, NY.

Honoring her wishes there will be no prior calling hours. A graveside entombment service will be held January 4, 2023 at 11:00am at Hillside Cemetery, Route 14A, Dundee, NY with Pastor Beckie Laumeier officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Dundee Emergency Squad 12 Union St. or the Dundee Methodist Church P.O. Box 63, Dundee, NY 14837.

Genevieve was born October 4, 1926 in Uniontown, PA, the daughter of the late Shrive S. and Bertha M. (Myers) Osler. She graduated from South Union High School in 1944 eventually moving to Daytona Beach, FL where she met, and married, the late Marion W. Davis. She retired after 25 years as a Teller for First Atlantic Bank in Daytona Beach, FL. She enjoyed crocheting, needlepoint and traveling the world with her husband. Mrs. Davis moved to Dundee in 2015 to be closer to her sister and family.

She is loved and will be dearly missed by her sister Ruth E. Oliver of Dundee, NY; daughter-in-law Brenda Davis of Daytona Beach, FL; granddaughter Lisa (Mike) Sharman; great granddaughter Genevieve Pap; and great grandson Nolan Brown; all of Georgetown, TX; nephew Kevin Oliver of Dundee, NY; and niece Tammy Oliver of Homer, NY.

Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband, Marion W. Davis; step son Steven Davis; and brother- in- law Kenneth Oliver.

The family would like to thank the staff at Penn Yan Manor for their kind, loving care of Genevieve.
