Markham K. Westfall

Penn Yan/Dundee: Markham K. Westfall, age 59, of Penn Yan, NY passed away suddenly Tuesday January 10, 2023 in Albany Medical Center, in Albany, NY.

There will be a Celebration of His Life with a dish to pass reception to follow on Saturday January 21st at 1:00 pm at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1833 Flat Street, Penn Yan, NY. 14527. In lieu of flowers, the family graciously asks those wishing to participate or if they prefer, they may send a memorial contribution to the church.

'Mark' was born May 30, 1963 in Penn Yan, NY, one of nine children, and the middle son of the late Edgar James and Rosella Mae (Rider) Westfall. He attended Dundee Central School. Raised as a farmer he was a passionate dairy farm worker having been employed throughout his healthy years by various farms, in Yates County, NY. He had been an avid hunter, who was everybody's friend, a loving brother and the best uncle.

He will be missed his 3 surviving brothers Michael P. Westfall, Joel T. (Tammy) Westfall, and Lyle W. (Annette Keck) Westfall all of Dundee, NY, 4 sisters Cathy A. (Jerry) Krnotch of Newfield, NY, Barbara Jean Dennis of, Florence, CO, Deborah L. Furgeson of Keuka Park, NY, and Sandy M. Scott also of Dundee; along with numerous nieces, and nephews whom he loved as if they were his own children; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his younger brother Tim Westfall in 2021.
