Obituary of Theresa Ann McLoud

Theresa Ann ''Terry'' McLoud Penn Yan: Theresa Ann ''Terry'' McLoud, age 60, of Penn Yan, NY passed away Thursday July 13, 2023 at Geneva General Hospital, Geneva, N.Y.. There will be no prior calling hours. A graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday August 4, 2023 in Second Milo Cemetery, Second Milo Rd., Penn Yan, NY with Lay Pastor Lew Ann Giles officiating. A reception will follow. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Humane Society of Yates County, P.O. Box 12, Penn Yan, NY 14527. Theresa was born August 18, 1962 in Penn Yan, NY, the daughter of Robert N. and the late Anna M. (Hall) Multer. A Brownie and member of 4H, she graduated from Penn Yan Academy in 1980. A life long area resident, Terry had worked for many years at Silgan Plastics in Penn Yan. More recently she was employed as a Direct Support Professional by Catholic Charities, in Penn Yan, NY. Terry will be remembered as "The Life of the Party", who made everyone laugh, and was the ultimate prankster. Halloween was always a favorite holiday as was listening to music while cruising country roads. She loved nature, and all animals, but especially puppy dogs. Gardening was a special talent, and she made sure her tomatoes were always ripe. She is loved and will be forever missed by her daughter Amber N. McLoud, and her 2 grandchildren Brandon & Kendra Champlin all of Penn Yan; her father Robert N. (Nancy Stanton) Multer of Middlesex, NY; 3 sisters Christine M. Golder, Cheryl E. (Lester) Miles, and Karol R. Multer all of Penn Yan; her Fur Baby 'Grady' the cat, along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins; uncle Jim Multer of Penn Yan; and many, many friends. She was predeceased by her mother Anna M. Multer in 2009. Arrangements entrusted to the Baird Funeral Home, 36 Water Street, Dundee.
