Ethel was such a strong lady. Her devotion to the Lord was unquestionable. I am so happy I got to know her. She will be missed.
There was a Christmas tree ornament I got Ethel many years ago that she always loved. This picture is very similar.

Our sincere sympathy to all of Ethel's family.
She was special and we were privileged to know her during our years as residents on Waneta Lake. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family.

My love and prayers to my cousins as you mourn the loss of a wonderful lady, my beautiful Aunt Et.
I have so many fond memories of growing up right across the street from my Aunt Et and Uncle Al.. I loved spending time at their campsite ( and yes I was a brat and got in trouble sometimes), I cherish the memories we shared: Sunday family meals, holidays, camping, and family card nights, and who didn't love Aunt Et's macaroni and cheese.
As an adult, I came to view Aunt Et as a role model for the kind of person I want to be. She was soft spoken, kind, generous, and loved the Lord with her whole heart.
She NEVER missed my birthday.
Although I moved hundreds of miles away decades ago, I have always felt connected to my Aunt Et. Whenever I was able to visit my hometown, I always looked forward to attending church with her.
I will miss her but I look forward to the day when we will be reunited.
Love,
Shelly

The departure of Aunt Ethel, beloved by us all, indeed leaves an immense void in our hearts. Her selflessness and affection enriched every family gathering, her homemade dinners and delightful desserts always warming our souls. With fond remembrances of our family vacations spent at Waneta Lake and their campsites, we honor her gentle spirit and generous love. We thank God for blessing us with such an extraordinary example of love itself May she rest in eternal peace and know how much she was loved.
