Ava Grace ~ You were the sparkle in grandma's eyes. ♡
You were her baby girl. She would laugh making sure to tell everyone just how smart you are. How high you can count & that you knew your ABC's by the age of two. She was so proud of you.

You were my everything.
When I needed advice, guidance, and even a wake up to reality. You were there. Our talks in the van. Riding to town or anywhere that we were headed. We talked.
I can hear your voice. When I find myself stuck. I hear your words. In my head. They help keep me moving.
Mama ~ I miss you so much.

Dear Mom,
I miss you. I wish you were here. The loss makes it hard to breathe because it was so sudden...I’m so grateful to be part of your strong legacy. I honor all that you taught me and I continue to grow and learn. I celebrate your life forever. You may be gone but all that love remains. It warms and comforts me and its foundation is as real as ever.
My beautiful mother, today and every single day from now on, your soul is free and happy!
Your Gregor...

I only know of you through your son, Tom. And I only met your husband once. That is when I first had the opportunity to tell him what a wonderful job you both accomplished in raising your son. It is such a loss not to have actually met you in person, but I can see your special beauty through Tom. May you rest in peace, dear lady.

I have known Carol for many, many years, as a Law Guardian for so many of the children she fostered. Over the years, she became a friend, and I can't begin to count the hours and days we spent talking on the phone or in her kitchen, looking out toward Seneca. She was one of a kind. I will miss her terribly.

I only met her 1 time when my daughter and I were standing in line at Charlie’s restaurant in Canandaigua waiting for our food . Amanda said mom this is grandma Fiorilla (Thomas’s grandma ) and the three little girls with her are her great granddaughters. I was honored to meet her . I have heard a few stories about her being a great foster-parent ,a wonderful grandmother and how she loved her Rooster stuff , So with that said I would like to send my deepest condolences to the entire Fiorilla family . May God fill your hearts with peace and love at this difficult time .

Your hand on my shoulder. You were closer to me than the doctor himself. Your head at mine. Talking to me. You knew I was so so tired.
You showed me what strength was, how support looks, & love feels.
You were there. Every minute before, during, & after.
Protective mother you were. You saw us through each stage of life.
Our guardian angel.
Thank you, mom for helping bring into this world - my world & only son, Julian.
I can still see the image like it was only yesterday.
Dr. Finneran & nurses helping gown you up. You were the hierarchy in the room.
Handing over Julian to us. We held him together.
Thank you, mom for being there at my side during one of life's most cherished moments. ♡

When the world was cold, you sheltered me with love. You taught me so much. You never sugar coated anything. You believed in me when I found it was hard to believe in myself. I could write for hours about you. When the National Foster Care Alumni Group reached out to me to do a mentor story about you, I was beyond excited, because there was not a more deserving person. You changed the lives of so many. Your spirit will live on through us.
Love you momma,
Shasta

A mother's love is always with her children. Losing a mother is one of the deepest sorrows a heart can know. But her goodness, wisdom, love, & will of never giving up on anyone. Never leaving anyone behind. This will always & forever hold a special place of memory in my heart. May all the love & light you've brought to us all now surround you, take away any worry, & return back to you all of your happiest memories. Its your time now to rest. We will all be okay. In time. I love you, mama. All my love, Wynn ♡

I was in 7th grade and can remember her helping my father when he was in a bed way, seeing I was upset she promised to have her son Tommy take me out, to learn how to fire a shotgun. That was 35yrs ago and that memory still has a place in my memory. She helped countless people out there.
