Rock Stream: Roxanne M. Perry, age 66, of Rock Stream, NY passed away unexpectedly Tuesday July 2, 2024 at Schuyler Hospital, Montour Falls, N.Y.

Friends are invited to calling hours from 2:00 -5:00 pm Sunday July 7, 2024, at the Baird Funeral Home, 36 Water Street, Dundee, NY. Her funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday July 8, at the Altay Baptist Church, 4289 Six Corners Rd., Dundee, NY with Interim Pastor Floyd Wicker Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Lakeview Cemetery, Route 14, Watkins Glen, NY.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Altay Baptist Church, 4289 Six Corners Rd., Dundee, NY 14837.

Roxanne was born April 8, 1958 in Lyons, NY, the daughter of the late Richard G. and Jennie Mae (Freas) Raplee. On June 28, 1975 in Watkins Glen Baptist Church she married Ronald E. Perry, and they just celebrated their 49th wedding anniversary. Roxanne worked for over 30 years at the Glen Motor Inn, in Watkins Glen, NY; most of those years as the manager of housekeeping. She was a very active member and Deaconess of the Altay Baptist Church. When she was not working and still able, she enjoyed all kinds of crafting, crochet, and loved using her green thumb. But the most joy and happiness was always derived from time spent with her grandchildren, who she loved unconditionally.

She is loved and will be forever missed by her husband Ronald E. Perry at home; 4 daughters Tanya (Tim Yeoman) Denmark of Dundee, Teresa (John) Vivier of Penn Yan, Jamie (Rich) Yahn of Manchester-Shortsville, NY, Melissa (Jeremy Glick) Longmore of Dundee; 13 grandchildren; 1 great grandson; 3 sisters Pamela (Dan) Perry of Watkins Glen, Lisa Bishop of Tyrone, Karla Nichols of Corning; 2 brothers Michael (Lisa) Raplee of Altay, Brian (Brenda) Raplee of Wayne, NY; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Beside her parents, she was predeceased by 2 sisters Geanna Mae Raplee, and Rita June Tucker.
