Obituary of Dawn M. Travis

Dawn Marie Travis Bradford: Dawn M. Travis, age 65, went home to be with the Lord on August 15, 2024 after a valiant battle with lung cancer. Dawn was born in Watertown, NY on June 27, 1959. Dawn worked as a waitress and CNA for many years. She loved to spend time with her family going camping, having cookouts, and hunting. She also enjoyed playing loud music and singing and dancing with her grandchildren. Dawn is survived by her husband of 17 years Dale "Rusty" Travis Jr.; daughter Amy (Grant) Stevens of Avoca; son John Fisher Jr. of Dundee; step daughter Summer (Austin) Niski; grandchildren Dominick (Allexis Hill) Fisher; Alexys Northrup, Brooke (Lucas McCarthy) Northrup, Makenzee Northrup, and Braedyn Fisher; great grandson Charles John; brothers Allan Patterson, Raymond (Janet) Mosher; Sisters Cindy (Mike) Walseman, Heather (David) Schoffner, Mary (Joe) Dillon, and Amanda Travis; many nieces, nephews, and great nieces. Dawn was predeceased by her son, Jamie Patterson, in 1979; mother, Ethel "Judy" Patterson, in 1996, and children's father, John Fisher Sr., in 2007. Per Dawn’s request there were no calling hours. The family invites friends and relatives to a celebration of Her Life at 2:00 p.m. Sunday Sept. 15, at the Savona Rod & Gun Club 5907 Bonny Hill Rd. Bath, NY 14810.
