Alberta and I were very close in our growing up years and shared wonderful memories in our later years. We both were cheerleaders at Dundee Central School in the 1940s. During that time we took a bus ride together from Penn Yan, NY to Evans Mills, New York to visit our Mother's sister, Wanda, and family. My future husband, Bob, and sister, Grace drove to Evans Mills to bring us home. Bob and Uncle Charlie, had just returned from a moose hunting trip to Canada and enjoyed viewing pictures of their wonderful experience. Actually, Alberta was responsible for Bob and I meeting at a square dance in Keuka. Bob was the new member of the Barrington Ridge Runners Band. Alberta and her friend, Shirley had attended a dance there one Saturday night and told me I should go with them the next week to see him, which I did; and the rest is history. Bob and I were married four years later, 1950. I owe Alberta a debt of gratitude, because that was such a blessing for us and our dear family. Bob was such a wonderful human being, with a great sense of humor and love of family. May God Bless Alberta's soul and may she rest in peace. I hope I can post photos later.

I want the same parents in my next life! Ma was an amazing woman and mother. She Loved us unconditionally.
Ma treated my wife (Nancy) like her own daughter.
Now, She’s gone home. Heaven is a richer place.
